Ben Norell
One of the first memories Ben has with playing video games is playing on the Atari 2600. He didn’t have very many games for the system, but one that he remembers is E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. A few years later his family purchased a Nintendo Entertainment System.
It wasn’t until Ben met someone with an SNES that he really fell in love with video games. His friend had several classic titles such as Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy 6. Ben played all these games several times over. Since then Ben has been an avid gamer and has enjoyed playing all genre of games on any system.
Ben is also the site manager and founder of Quartercirclepunch.net. So if you have any questions or concerns related to the site, he would be the one to contact.

Josh Norell
Josh was first introduced to video games by the Intellavision II at his grandmother’s house and has been looking for ways to sate his thirst for more ever since. He has played his way through games on the Atari, Game Boy, NES, SNES, Virtual Boy, PSX, N64, Dreamcast, Gamecube, PS2, and many more up to the next generation of systems.
If playing games were a sport (I know what some of you are thinking but, no, they aren’t a sport) then he would probably be coaching some minor league team in a small town reminiscing about the good old days when the -insert generic sport name- was pure and not at all like how it is today.

Mike Brown
Mike started playing video games at the age of three, first on his family’s Atari 2600. When Mike was seven, his older brother convinced their parents to pick up a Super Nintendo as a Christmas gift, which they did and gave to Mike along with a copy of the very mediocre game The Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse, which he played like a sonofabitch regardless. The Christmas following, he was given two historically excellent games: Secret of Mana, and Street Fighter II Turbo. Mike has been playing video games fervently since in virtually every genre and on nearly every system.
Favorites: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Metal Gear Solid Series, Final Fantasy Tactics, Half-Life Series, Demon’s Souls
Jesse Kissee
Jesse has been playing video games since he was seven years old. When he was thirteen he started playing games even more and he has been going strong ever since. The first game he played that he spent a lot of time on was Final Fantasy 7. He has also been partial to the Final Fantasy franchise since playing this game. Growing up, his mother was always trying to get him to play less video games and get outside more. She put an hour-a-day limit on his playing, but he would always find ways to game well over his time restriction.
Favorites: Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 11, Metal Gear Solid 4, Mass Effect 2, Battlefield 1942
Dan Egbert
Dan accepted that video games were in his blood after finishing an argument in his 5th grade debate class that SNES was a better system than Sega Genesis. In Junior High he wrote a Pacman style game called TrashMan in Quick Basic. He majored in Computer Science and Digital Media and dabbles in game development in addition to video game writing.
Favorites: Super Mario RPG, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Banjo-Kazooie, Portal 2, Final Fantasy 7
Tomoki Sato
Tomoki started playing video games when he was four. He was raised in a family who all play video game (except his Mother), and the first game he played was Bomberman. When Tomoki was seven, he was good enough to beat all of his family members, neighbors, and friends in the Street Fighter series, and other fighting games. Tomoki was born as fighting game champion. He tried to play 3D fighting games (like Tekken) when he was junior high school, but found that he didn’t enjoy 3D fighting games. Nowadays, Tomoki dreams to be the best fighter in Marvel vs Capcom 3.
