Our rating system

Our game reviews employ a fraction-based rating system out of 10. For a sense of what our ratings mean, a game that rates a 5.0/10 is considered average. This may seem obvious, but over the years we feel the rating system of other game sites has become a bit inflated to where a 6.8/10.0 is considered average. We understand the risks involved with adopting this “normalized” rating compass, but above all else we want our reviews to be an accurate representation of what the game is.
